CUET UG 2026 Registration Live: How to Register and Other Details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the registration process for CUET (UG) 2026 for admissions to undergraduate programs in Central Universities and other participating institutions.

 

Key Updates:

  • Registration Started: January 3, 2026 (LIVE now).
  • Last Date to Apply: January 30, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).
  • Last Date for Fee Payment: January 31, 2026.
  • Correction Window: February 2 to 4, 2026 (tentative).
  • Exam Dates: May 11 to 31, 2026 (tentative; exact schedule to be announced later).

How to Apply for CUET UG 2026:

  1. Visit the official website: https://cuet.nta.nic.in/
  2. Click on the "Registration for CUET(UG)-2026" link or "New Registration" under Candidate Activity.
  3. Fill in personal details (name, DOB, email, mobile) to generate an application number and password.
  4. Log in and complete the application form: Upload photo, signature, and documents; select subjects (up to 5-6 domain subjects + language + general test), universities, and exam cities.
  5. Pay the application fee online (Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, UPI):
    • General: INR 800–INR 1,000 (approx., varies by category and subjects).
    • SC/ST/PwD/Female: Lower fee.
    • Additional subjects: Extra fee.
  6. Submit and download the confirmation page.

  • Register early to avoid last-minute rush.
  • Use a valid email and mobile number (OTP verification required).
  • Upload recent passport-size photo and signature as per specifications.
  • No offline applications accepted—only online mode.
