At IIM Amritsar this year, 250 recruiters visited the institute campus. This includes over 120 first-time recruiters. The highest domestic package offered was INR 28 LPA. Furthermore, the highest international package stood at INR 58.52 LPA. The average package was INR 19.73 LPA, and the median package was INR 18.01 LPA.

 Students typically become eligible for placements from their fourth trimester. The institute's placement process is managed by a dedicated student-run committee, ensuring a diverse range of opportunities across various sectors such as IT, finance, consulting, and FMCG.

Note: The highest stipend offered during summer placements for MBA was INR 2.75 lakh. More than 200 recruiters participated, including Tata Steel, Flipkart, Infosys, Amul, etc.

IIM Amritsar offers a limited number of scholarships to its eligible MBA students based on their scholastic achievement and diversity. The amount of scholarship awarded to MBA students is distributed in 2 equal proportions over 2 years of the MBA program.

• MBA Scholarship 1st Year: IIM Amritsar gives scholarships to students based on their prior academic records, performance in the MBA admission process, and diversity (including gender, economic status, and other factors). 
• MBA Scholarship Renewal 2nd Year: Students at IIM Amritsar can opt for renewal of their MBA Scholarships from 1st year based on academic performance and conduct during the first year of MBA program, i.e., a minimum CGPA of 2.96. The selected students will receive the scholarship award letter along with their admission offer letter.

There are 750 scholarship seats available, and there is no specific income criterion for students to be eligible under the National Fellowship Programs. The maximum age to qualify for National Fellowship Scholarships should be 36 years, as on the first day of July of the relevant year of the award of scholarship.
