IIM Raipur offers an MBA, a 2-year, full-time residential master’s program, as its flagship course. From 2025 onwards, IIM Raipur will no longer be a part of the Common Admission Process (CAP) and will instead independently manage the selection process for MBA. The final selection will be based on the CAT scores, followed by Group Discussions and a personal interview. The CAT 2024 cutoff for MBA admission at IIM Raipur was 80th percentile for the General Category.
PhD courses are also offered at IIM Raipur. To be eligible for admission, candidates must secure a minimum of 55% marks at the Master’s level. Eligible candidates will be required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) held by the IIMs. Those who have qualified for GATE, GRE, GMAT, or JRF can also apply for a PhD.
Steps to apply;
- Register for CAT on iimcat.ac.in and select IIM Raipur.
- Appear for the CAT Exam and meet the required cutoff.
- Get shortlisted based on CAT score and eligibility.
- Attend WAT & PI rounds (Written Test & Personal Interview).
- Receive an Admission Offer if selected.
- Confirm Admission by paying the fee and submitting documents.
Indian Institute of Management- IIM R Raipur Placement
IIM Raipur Final Placements have not been released yet, but IIM Raipur Placements 2024 witnessed 116 companies participating in the recruitment process. Highest and average package offered during IIM Raipur MBA placements 2024 stood at INR 42.29 LPA and INR 18.15 LPA. Further, the median package offered during IIM Raipur MBA placements 2024 stood at INR 17.5 LPA. In addition, a total of 116 recruiters visited the campus, and 302 offers were made during IIM Raipur MBA placements 2024. The top recruiters during IIM Raipur MBA placements 2024 included Amazon, Accenture, and EY.
Moreover, the highest and average stipend offered during IIM Raipur MBA summer placements for the 2022-24 batch stood at INR 3.50 lakh and INR 1.39 lakh for two months, respectively.
Other than this, out of the total of 311 registered students, all students were placed in the 2025 summer placements at IIM Raipur concluded with the highest stipend (2 months) at INR 3 lakhs and the average stipend (2 months) at INR 1.07 lakhs.
Indian Institute of Management- IIM R Raipur Scholarships
At IIM Raipur, Scholarships are available for SC/ST/OBC/PWD students through government schemes, and the National Scholarship Portal offers additional opportunities. The OP Jindal scholarship is awarded based on competitive exams and interviews. Scholarship of Rs. 50,000/- per month will be paid in the 3rd year only after completion of two years and clearance of the Comprehensive, whichever is later. Selected candidates need to pay a caution deposit of Rs 30,000/- at the time of registration.
Caution: Money is refundable after adjusting dues, if any, at the time of leaving the Institute. Insurance premiums will be deducted from the Contingency Grant every year. Contingency Grant will be available for the purchase of books, stationery, journal subscription, professional annual membership fee (student rates) of one national and one international society, computer software, and travel related to thesis work. The institute reserves the right to charge any other fees from the students or increase the fees if considered necessary. Due notice would be given while making such changes.
If any self-sponsored candidates want to join the full-time DPM, they have to pay the fee as applicable to the PhD in Practice track. No internal scholarships are provided by the institute, but financial aid and need-based scholarships are available.
