The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 (April) results on April 20, 2026. This covers Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech courses. The final answer key was also released on the same day, and the results are now final with no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking.

Key Highlights of JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Result

  • A total of 26 students achieved a perfect 100 percentile in this session.

  • Around 2,50,182 candidates have qualified for JEE Advanced 2026.

  • More than 11 lakh students appeared in the April session examination, which was conducted from April 2 to April 8, 2026.

  • The best NTA score (from Session 1 or Session 2) will be considered for the final All India Rank (AIR) and counselling purposes.

How to Check JEE Main Session 2 Result 2026

Candidates can download their scorecards from the official website:

  1. Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in

  2. Click on the link for “Score Card for JEE(Main)-2026 [Session-II] Paper-1 (B.E./B.Tech)”

  3. Log in using your Application Number and Password (or Date of Birth)

  4. View and download the scorecard in PDF format

Alternative direct links are also available on examinationservices.nic.in or cnr.nic.in.

The scorecard displays your NTA score, percentile, All India Rank (if released), and category-wise rank.

Next Steps After the Result

  • Candidates qualifying for JEE Advanced can register for the next stage.

  • JoSAA counselling 2026 is expected to begin soon for admission to NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutes.

  • For IPU BTech admissions (as discussed earlier), use your best JEE Main score during centralised counselling on ipu.ac.in.

Note on Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning): The Session 2 result for Paper 2 is expected in the first week of May 2026.
