Admissions at CCET are primarily merit-based and follow the guidelines of Anna University and the Government of Tamil Nadu. The college offers B.E., B.Tech., and MBA programs.

Eligibility Criteria for B.E./B.Tech:

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent with physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

  • Minimum aggregate: 45% for the general category.

  • Tamil Nadu candidates who studied VIII – XII in Tamil Nadu schools are eligible. A nativity certificate is required for certain cases.

  • Other state candidates who studied in Tamil Nadu or children of central government employees serving in Tamil Nadu for 5+ years are also eligible.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA:

  • A recognised three-year bachelor's degree in any discipline.

  • Minimum aggregate: 50%

Admission Process:

  • Check if you meet the eligibility criteria by completing 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics for a B.E./B.Tech. or a bachelor’s degree for an MBA.

  • Register online at the official TNEA portal for B.E./B.Tech. or the TANCET portal for MBA.

The Training and Placement Cell is an important part of Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology. The objective of the placement cell is to create awareness among the students about the professional requirements of the employers.
