Placement and Internship at Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Udaipur

The university maintains a general Training & Placement Support for its alumni. Many graduates are working in reputed private hospitals, government organizations, and international healthcare setups. For medical colleges, real career growth depends more on NEET-PG performance and clinical experience than campus placements.

Internship Cell at Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital (GMCH)

Geetanjali Medical College has a well-organized Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI) programme.

• All MBBS students must complete a 1-year compulsory internship after final year.

• The internship is conducted entirely at the attached Geetanjali Hospital (1150+ bedded multi-specialty hospital).

• Students rotate through all major clinical departments (Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, etc.).

• The college has a dedicated Internship Coordination Committee that manages posting schedules, attendance, and completion certificates.

• Interns receive hands-on clinical training under senior doctors. Stipend is usually provided as per Rajasthan Government / NMC norms.

Placement Cell at Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital (GMCH)

GMCH does not have a traditional campus Placement Cell like engineering colleges.

Medical graduates usually:

• Join the attached hospital as Junior Residents / Medical Officers.

• Appear for NEET-PG for postgraduate seats.

• Get jobs directly in private/corporate hospitals, government services, or abroad.

Scholarship and Fee Concession at Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Udaipur. Most MBBS students especially Management Quota pay full fees INR 22–30 Lakh per year. Scholarships do not cover the majority of private college fees. Government Quota seats have the biggest fee benefit. No full free-ship is generally available for General Category students in Management Quota.
