Admissions follow the rules of Telangana State Council of Higher Education and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. 70% of seats (convener quota) are filled through centralised counselling based on entrance exam ranks, while 30% of seats are under the management/NRI quota. The process is transparent and merit-orientated, with preference given to candidates with strong academic records and valid entrance scores.
Eligibility Criteria:
B.Tech: The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt of Telangana State, or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
M.Tech: Candidates must have a B.E. / B.Tech. degree or its equivalent from AICTE-approved institutions and a valid GATE score / PGECET rank.
Admission Process:
Appear in Entrance Exam: Register and qualify for TS EAPCET for B.Tech or GATE/PGECET for M.Tech.
Apply for Counselling: Register on the TSCHE / TG EAPCET counselling portal.
Choice Filling & Seat Allotment: Fill college and branch preferences. Seats are allotted based on rank, category, and availability (70% convener quota).
Management Quota: 30% of seats are filled directly by the institute based on 10+2 marks / entrance score + interview.
Document Verification & Fee Payment: Report to the institute, verify documents, and pay fees to confirm admission.
