The Ideal Training and Placement Cell (ITPC) at Ideal Institute of Management and Technology & School of Law actively coordinates campus drives. Summer internships are mandatory for BBA students to include skill development workshops, career counselling, and alumni networking. Many BA LLB graduates opt for litigation, corporate firms, judicial services, or higher studies instead of campus placements. Placements are moderate for a GGSIPU-affiliated college, focusing on entry-level roles in management, IT, sales, operations, and legal practice. 

Program-Wise Insights

• BBA/BCA: Mostly sales, marketing, operations, and IT roles. Strong internship support (100% assisted, often at HDFC Life, Internshala, White Hat Jr.).
• BA LLB (Hons.): Fewer campus placements; most graduates join courts (Tis Hazari, Delhi High Court), law firms, or independent practice. Some go for LLM, judicial exams, or corporate legal roles.

Internships are also provided by the counsellors for last year students, and 100% assistance is provided, especially compulsory summer internships for BBA. The career counselling, workshops, and alumni interactions are most effective and resulting outcomes for students' careers. Eligible students can get a job opportunity in the field of entry-level roles in management, IT, sales, and law firms. Many students also pursue higher studies, judicial services, or court practice.

Ideal Institute of Management and Technology & School of Law offers several scholarships for need-based students. They can fulfil their dream with a minimum fee and maximum concession provided by the organisation. The aim and objective are to provide financial support to those students who belong to the weak final category. The institute primarily offers merit-based cash prizes to encourage academic performance. These are awarded annually to students who excel in GGSIPU university examinations for their programs (BBA, BCA, BA LLB).

Institute Merit Cash Prizes

• First Position: ₹10,000 (one-time for the year) — awarded to the student securing 75% or more marks and clearing all papers in the first attempt.
• Second Position: ₹7,500 (one-time for the year) — if no one achieves 75%, the highest scorer with 70% or above is considered. This is automatically evaluated based on university results; no separate application is required.
