The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) continues its Placement legacy in its Kakinada campus attracting top recruiters. IIFT Kolkata not only provides placement to students but also offers summer internships.

According to the last placement report of Institute, the average salary package offered to students was INR 27.30 LPA and the highest salary package offered was INR 75.60 LPA.

As per Institute’s Summer Internship Report 2025, the highest stipend offered was INR 4.50 lacs and the average stipend offered was INR 2.73 Lacs.

IIFT Kakinada has various Scholarship schemes to offer help to students with weaker financial backgrounds. To get benefit of these schemes, students must be fulfilling eligibility criteria:

• Need Based Scholarship Scheme - Under this scholarship programme, Institute pays interest subsidy on Educational Loan for 27 months from the time the loan is taken from a Bank. This scholarship scheme is not valid for those students who take admission from AY 2023 onwards.
• New Scholarship Scheme (NSS) - New scholarship scheme covers  20% of the tuition fee in all “Full-Time/Regular” batches of the degree courses offered by IIFT. 
• Scholarships offered by Government of India - Government of India offers various central and state level scholarships to students which can be availed through National Scholarship Portal. 
• Other Scholarship Programmes: There are scholarships offered by other organizations, namely Exam Bank Scholarship and OPJEM Scholarship.
