Eligibility Criteria: To get admission in the International Business Department of Commerce, DELHI SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS (DU). They have to pass a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or from Delhi University itself in any discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks. For reserved categories, they have 5% relaxation as per university rules. They also have to appear for the CAT exams based on the CAT scores, which are conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs). Also, candidates appearing in the final year are eligible to apply; after that, only selected candidates are eligible for admission.
Note* for Foreign Students, those who have completed their schooling from an Indian Board will also be treated as foreign students; they also need to secure GMAT scores of 650.
Entrance Exam CAT and GMAT
Interested candidates who are Indian students have to appear for the CAT exam, and based on their marks, they can get admission. For Foreign Candidates, they have to take the GMAT Exams and secure their seats with a 650 score.
How to apply online?
- Step 1. Admission criteria:
To get admission in the International Business Department of Commerce, DELHI SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS (DU). Candidates must check the eligibility for post-graduation programs. - Step 2. Registration:
Go to the official website of CAT and GMAT, then register as a new candidate on the home page, and then enter your name, email ID, and mobile number as per your academic records. User ID and Password will be received via email/sms after you register successfully. - Step 3. Log in
Use your registered ID and password to log in. Start filling in the details, personal details (name, DOB, category, address, etc), academic qualifications, work experience, then the choice of IIMs and non-IIM institutes to receive CAT/GMAT scores. - Step 4. Preferences:
Choose 6 exam cities according to your preferences for your exam centres. IIMs will allot one centre based on availability and preferences. - Step 5. Registration fee:
Candidates have to pay an application fee for the CAT Exams, 2600/- for the general category, and for the reserve categories, you have to pay 1300/-, and for the GMAT, 22,000/- to 25,000/- approximately. Once you make the payment, you will be notified with a confirmation message at your registered email and phone number. - Step 6. Admit card:
After successfully submitting your application form, download your CAT/ GMAT Admit card from the same link when released. - Step 7. Exam centre:
After that, appear for the exam at your allotted exam center. It will be from one of the preferences that you have selected earlier. - Step 8. Result:
After your result declaration, use your CAT Scores and apply for the International Business Department of Commerce, DELHI SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS (DU).
