• Eligibility for UG Programs requires that you have a 10+2 certificate, and in some courses, you have to do it with mathematics and science, which is compulsory. The required marks are 50% for general categories and 45% for reserved categories. Also, you have to give the CUET Entrance exams to get admission in this. 
• Eligibility for PG Programmes is to get admission in a Postgraduate Program. Candidates have to graduate from any recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks needed for the general categories, and relaxations will be applied for reserved candidates. The candidate must have valid scores on CUET, JEE MAIN, and GATE. For Doctoral programmes, you need a master’s degree of at least 2 years with a minimum of 55% marks or a 4-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 75% marks. 

Steps to Apply for Admission:

• Step 1: Visit the Official Website
  Go to the official website — www.jmi.ac.in — and open the Admission Portal (https://www.jmicoe.in). Select the “Apply for Admission” option under the relevant academic session.
• Step 2: Register Online
  Create a new applicant account using a valid email ID and mobile number. Fill in basic details like name, date of birth, nationality, and preferred course.
• Step 3: Fill the Application Form
  Log in and complete the form with academic details, course selection, and personal information. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and necessary certificates as per the given specifications.
• Step 4: Pay the Application Fee
  Pay the fee online through net banking, debit card, or credit card. The fee varies by course (usually ₹500–₹700 per program).
• Step 5: Submit and Print
  After verifying all details, submit the form online. Download and print the confirmation page or application form for future reference.
• Step 6: Appear for Entrance Examination (if applicable)
  Most UG courses accept CUET (UG) scores, while some PG and PhD programs have JMI Entrance Tests. Keep track of admit card releases, test dates, and result announcements on the official portal.
• Step 7: Counseling and Admission Confirmation
  Qualified candidates must appear for counseling/interview/document verification. Pay the admission fee to confirm your seat within given deadline.
