Internship (CRMI) at Jubilee Mission Medical College

Every MBBS student must complete one-year Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI) after passing the final year exams. The entire internship is done at the attached Jubilee Mission Hospital, a large multi-speciality teaching hospital with heavy patient flow. Students also get free hostel accommodation during the internship period. Many students mention that the clinical exposure is very good due to the busy hospital, though the workload can be high.

Departments covered: Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Community Medicine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and others as per NMC guidelines.

Stipend (2025): 

• State Government portion: INR 25,000 per month

• College portion: INR 15,000 per month

• Total: Approximately INR 40,000 per month

Placement Cells at Jubilee Mission Medical College does not have a traditional placement cell like engineering colleges. There are no campus recruitment drives by companies. After completing the internship, most MBBS graduates have these options. The attached hospital regularly absorbs many interns and postgraduates internally.
