KIRAS has a placement cell that actively organises career guidance, skill development programs, guest lectures, and recruitment drives. It connects academia and industry, particularly in education and IT sectors. The cell aims to assist students in securing meaningful careers with reputed recruiters that includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Standard Chartered, etc.  

Key Activities of Placement Cell:

• It organizes career counselling sessions to guide students on career paths, resume building, and interview skills.

• It conducts training workshops, seminars, mock interviews, aptitude tests, group discussions, and personality development programs to enhance employability.

• It arranges guest lectures and interactions with eminent corporate executives, industry experts, and academicians. 

• It facilitates industrial training, summer internships, and practical exposure in reputed organizations. 

• Providing guidance for employment in sectors like education, schools/institutions, IT/Software companies, etc.

KIRAS does not offer institute specific scholarships directly but it facilitates access to various government and university level financial aid options, primarily through its affiliation with GGSIPU and other government schemes. 

Key Scholarships available:

• Merit-based scholarships - Awarded based on academic performance in qualifying exams or during the course as per GGSIPU/university norms.

• Category-based scholarships - For SC/ST/OBC students, including fee reimbursements and post-matric scholarships from Delhi Government or central schemes.

• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) scholarships -Financial assistance for students from low-income families, often involving income certificates and application through government portals.

• Other government scholarships - Such as those from Delhi Government, central schemes
