Students undergo a one-year rotatory internship in the attached hospital, where they gain practical experience across various medical departments. This internship includes hands-on training, patient care, and clinical exposure, often with a modest stipend. The college provides guidance and support to help students secure jobs in hospitals and healthcare organizations, and a significant number of students find employment after completing their degree. Overall, the internship system acts as the main bridge between academic learning and professional medical practice at Kannur Medical College.
