The placement cell at Maharaja Surajmal Institute (MSI Janakpuri) plays a central role in connecting students with job and internship opportunities by acting as an interface between the institute and the corporate world. Managed by a team of faculty members along with student coordinators, the cell is responsible for organising campus recruitment drives, inviting companies from diverse sectors, and ensuring smooth communication between recruiters and students. It begins its work by registering eligible final-year students and guiding them through resume preparation and profile building. Alongside this, the cell conducts various training programmes such as aptitude tests, mock interviews, group discussions, and soft skills workshops to enhance students’ employability and confidence before they face recruiters.

• Merit-cum-Means Linked Financial Assistance Scheme: It is the policy of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi that students get access to high-quality education provided by Delhi State Universities.

• Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students: The Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC has taken over implementation of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Post Matric Scholarship for the students belonging to the SC category for pursuing further studies at post-matriculation/post-secondary (college/university) levels within India.
