Maharana Pratap College of Technology has a Training 7 Placement Cell headed by  a senior faculty as the TPO. The cell remains in constant touch with a number of leading industries and organizations. It provides career counseling to the students. Industrialists, technocrats and relevant high officials are invited to guide our students, so that they may not feel any problem in placement of jobs of their interest. By arranging seminars, Symposium, Lectures etc. our students get opportunities to interact with their concerned experienced technocrats.

The cell, besides arranging Summer training, industrial tours and placement at the campus and off campus, engages itself in various personality enhancement programmes like communication skills, transactional Analysis, group discussion & interview techniques. The T & P Cell also organizes vocational training in different industrial units where the students of different branches of engineering & MCA are absorbed as trainees which facilitate them in Job Placement.

Key Functions of Placement Cell:

• It arranges guest lectures and industrial visits for practical exposure and better learning.
• It conducts regular training sessions on soft skills, aptitude, technical skills, group discussions, and personal interviews.
• Identifies job opportunities and invites reputed companies for placement drives.

Maharana Pratap College of Technology offers various scholarships to help financially backward students and those who have academic excellence. These scholarships can be avail only if students fall under eligibility criteria. Eligible students can apply through the college or respective government portals.

Application Process: Students can apply through the college scholarship cell or directly on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) / MP Government portal. Scholarship amounts range from INR 8,000 to full/partial tuition fee waiver.
