Eligibility Criteria for BTech, MBA, MCA and MTech

One of the following subjects has to pass Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics, or Technical Vocational subjects. Minimum aggregate marks required 45% in the above subjects (40% for SC/ST/OBC/Category-I candidates of Karnataka).
Entrance Examination for BE/ BTech: Candidates must have a valid score/rank in KCET, COMEDK UGET, or JEE Main.
For M.Tech (2 years): B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant field with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Valid score in GATE or Karnataka PGCET.
MBA and MCA: Students have to pass bachelor degree from any recognised university with 50% minimum aggregate marks.
Online Step wise Admission Process at NCET 2026
- Meet Eligibility & Appear for Entrance Exam Register and appear for KCET (Karnataka quota) or COMEDK UGET (All India/Private quota). JEE Main scores are also considered by some candidates.
- Register for Counselling: KCET candidates have to register on the KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) portal. COMEDK candidates need to register on the COMEDK counselling portal. Fill college and branch preferences (Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology as one of the choices).
