Sri Venkateswaraa Medical College & Research Institute, As this is a medical college, there is no traditional campus placement like in engineering or management colleges. After completing the 4.5 years of MBBS study, every student must do a one-year compulsory rotating internship (CRRI) at the attached teaching hospital.

During this internship, students work in different departments of the 900+ bed hospital and receive a monthly stipend as per Tamil Nadu government rules (usually around INR 20,000–25,000 per month, subject to change).

After finishing the internship and getting the MBBS degree, most students prepare for NEET-PG to join postgraduate (MD/MS) courses. Others join as medical officers in government or private hospitals. Some start working directly in the college’s own hospital or other healthcare setups.

Because the college started in 2022, long-term placement records for graduates are not yet available. The strong clinical training in the attached hospital helps students build practical skills for their future career.

Sri Venkateswaraa Medical College & Research Institute offers scholarships mainly through Tamil Nadu state government schemes. These are available for eligible students in the government quota seats.Students need to submit income certificate, community certificate, and other documents during counselling or admission. Scholarship forms can be downloaded from the Tamil Nadu government education portal or collected from the college office.

• Students from SC/ST/SCA categories can get full or partial fee concession if their family income meets the government limit (usually below INR 2.5 lakh per year).

• BC, MBC, and DNC students can apply for tuition fee waivers or scholarships if their annual family income is below INR 2 lakh.

• Minority scholarships (for Muslim, Christian, and Jain students) are available through both government and management routes.

• First graduate fee concession is also provided for eligible students who are the first in their family to pursue higher education.

• A few merit-based scholarships may be given by the college management for high-performing students, but most support comes from state schemes.
