Gautam Buddha University Greater Noida Scholarships: Eligibility & Scholarship Amount 2026

At GBU, a unique blend of university-based waivers, government scholarships, and other assistance programs benefits meritorious and economically weaker students. The benefit is conditional upon verification of eligibility criteria, performance, attendance, and guidelines of the respective governments.

1. University Fee Waiver / Scholarship

• SC/ST Students: 50% scholarship on tuition/academic fees. Rest is available through UP Government’s schemes.
• GBU Employees and Their Family Members: 50% waiver in academic fees for employees on the university’s payroll and their eligible family members.
• Noida/Greater Noida Education Society Schools: 20% waiver in academic fees for pass-outs of eligible schools.
• Merit Scholarship: Awarded to the meritorious students each year based on performance (CGPA).
• Teaching Assistantship for M.Tech Students: GATE qualified M.Tech students can work as teaching assistants.

2. Government / External Scholarships

• University of Patna State Scholarship Scheme (Post Matric) (SC/ST/OBC/EWS): Scholarship scheme available for students from the state of UP. Reimbursement of Tuition Fee.
• National Scholarship Portal Scholarship Schemes (Central/National): Various scholarships available through the National Scholarship Portal for SC/ST/OBC/Minorities, EWS and merit cum means scholarships.
