About East Point College of Engineering and Technology Scholarships

EPGI Scholarships- The scholarship was established in the memory and respect of beloved Founder Chairman, Dr.S.M. Venkatpathi, to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students to enable them to pursue Professional and Technical courses.
Every year, EPGI offers scholarships worth Rs. 2 crores is made available to the students.
Dr. S. M. Venkatpathi Scholarship: M. G. Charitable Trust awards this Scholarship to meritorious students. Students can avail a 100% Scholarship Awarded on a merit-cum-means basis. The total amount of the Tuition Fee can be availed over the duration of the degree programme.
Merit criteria include performance in entrance exams like KCET / JEE (Main) / internal aptitude tests (for example: “EPSAT Rank” mentioned) for some scholarships.
Means (financial need) is also part of the selection, especially for the Dr. S. M. Venkatpathi Scholarship.
Scholarships are a first-come, first-served basis has been mentioned for some.
For category-based government schemes: e.g., SC/ST/OBC students can also avail state/central scholarships.
