About IIT Scholarships

IIT Palakkad offers scholarships to its students to encourage them for their education and financially aid them. To take advantage of these scholarships, students have to come under the eligibility criteria as mentioned by the University.

Scholarships	Eligibility Criteria
Full Fee Remission	Annual Family income below 1 lakh per annum
Two Third Fee Remission	Annual Family Income between 1 lakh and below 5 lakhs per annum
MCM Scholarship	Annual family income below 4.5 lakh per annum and provided for 25 % of the sanctioned strength based on the JEE/JAM rank
SC/ ST Scholarship	Annual family income below 4.50 lakhs and belonging to SC/ST community
Shraman Scholarships	Providing financial support to underprivileged students in India to help them pursue higher education in technical disciplines. Annual Family income should be less than Rs.5 lakh.
Vidyalakshmi Scholarship Scheme	Students from families with annual parental income of Rs.1 to 5 lakh who currently pay 1/3rd of the tuition fee (the balance 2/3rd is subsidized by the Govt.) Students from EWS and OBC-NCL categories are included. Students with meritorious performance (CGPA > 6.5) 50% of the selection / nominations preferably for girl students.
