Scholarship Options at SCAC Pune, Government-Sponsored Scholarships
Students at SCAC can avail various central and state government schemes (through online portals or college coordination). These are awarded based on category, merit and family income. Common Government Scholarships Include. Post-Matric e-Scholarship & Freeship – For reserved categories from Maharashtra (SC/ST/OBC etc.)
Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships, for students who scored high marks (typically 80%+) in 12th standard. Minority Scholarship, for students from Muslim, Sikh, Parsi, Christian, Buddhist, Jain & Jewish communities. Rajashree Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Scholarship Scheme, for economically backward class students (income capped). Krantijyoti Savitrimata Phule Scholarship, for female students. Physically Handicapped Scholarship, for differently-abled students. State Open Merit Scholarships are based on academic achievement. Ishan Uday Scholarship Scheme, for students from the North-Eastern region.
Institutional & Need-Based Support, SCAC also facilitates merit-based or need-based financial aid according to individual performance and background. International & Symbiosis Society Foundation Scholarships, while most of SCAC’s direct scholarships are government-linked, Symbiosis International University (SIU) also offers scholarships applicable to Symbiosis colleges (likely including some SCAC students in certain cases), such as partial/Full Academic Scholarships, based on high merit (e.g., top marks) for UG/PG programs. e.g., full tuition waiver for one UG program, partial waivers for others.
