CAT Form Correction Window 2026 – Live Updates, Editable Form Fields & Complete Process

The CAT 2026 Form Correction Window is now live or opening shortly. IIM Indore, the conducting body for CAT 2026, has activated the limited correction facility for registered candidates who completed the application and paid the fee.

Key Dates

Important: The correction window will not be extended. Candidates must complete all changes within this short window.

What Can Be Edited (Only 3 Fields)

Candidates can make corrections only in the following fields:

• Photograph (re-upload if unclear, wrong background, or size issues)
• Signature (re-upload if blurred or incorrect)
• Test State / City Preferences (change or reorder preferred exam cities)

What Cannot Be Edited

The following details remain completely locked:

• Name
• Date of Birth
• Category
• Email ID & Mobile Number
• Academic details (Class 10, 12, Graduation)
• Work experience
• Any other personal information

Step-by-Step Process to Correct the Form

1. Visit the official website: iimcat.ac.in
2. Click on Registered Candidate Login
3. Enter your User ID and Password
4. Open your submitted application form from the dashboard
5. Click on the Edit / Correction option (available only during the window)
6. Upload a new photograph or signature (if required) or update test city preferences
7. Carefully review all changes
8. Accept the declaration and Submit the corrected form
9. Download and save the updated confirmation page for future reference

Note: There is no additional fee for making corrections.

Photo & Signature Guidelines (Must Follow)

• Photograph: Recent colour photo with plain white background, JPG/JPEG format, size under 80 KB, preferably 1200×1200 pixels.
• Signature: Clear signature in black or blue ink on white paper, scanned properly, under 80 KB.
