Round 2 seat allotment result is being released by COMEDK today i.e., August 7, 2026 at 4:00 PM for KKR (Kalyana Karnataka Region)/HKR seats alone.
Round 2 is reserved for eligible candidates belonging to KKR category (who selected Accept & Upgrade / Reject & Upgrade in Round 1 or those who did not get any allotment in earlier rounds). This round is not meant for General Merit candidates.
Note: Only candidates who select “Accept & Freeze” need to report to allotted college. Candidates should check reporting timings of allotted college well in advance. Late reporting could result in forfeiture of seats.
Vacancies available in Round 2 had been announced on the official website on August 5, 2026. There were approximately 8,454 vacant seats after Round 1 (including ~2,786 KKR).

Cutoff
- The round 1 cutoff ranks (college-wise and branch-wise) have been released on comedk.org.
- The round 2 cutoff will be declared post allotment procedure (usually the closing ranks PDF). Keep an eye out in the Notifications section of the website once released.
- Based on previous trends and round 1 cutoffs, the top colleges (RVCE, MSRIT, BMSCE) are closed at low ranks for CSE/ related branches with respect to General Merit; whereas KKR ranks are relatively high.
Actions To Take Post Allotment
- Login and verify the allotted seat.
- Choose an action (Accept & Freeze, or whatever other options may be provided) and pay the fee within the allotted window (till 10 Aug, 4 PM).
- In case of Accept & Freeze action, download allotment letter and fee receipt and go physically to the allotted college before 11 Aug, 12 Noon with relevant documents.
- The cancellation action option can be availed till 11 Aug, 3 PM.
