The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the online registration window for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2026 as a one-time special facility in response to candidate requests. This is your last opportunity to apply if you missed the earlier deadlines.

Key Dates for Registration (Reopened Window):

  • Reopening date: February 23, 2026 (afternoon)

  • Last date to submit online application form and pay fee: February 26, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM)

Important Points:

  • This is a final, limited window-no further extensions are expected.

  • No correction facility will be provided after submission, so fill the form carefully, double-check all details (personal info, subject choices, exam city preferences), and review before final payment.

  • Apply early to avoid last-minute technical issues, server slowdowns, or payment failures.

  • The CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from May 11 to May 31, 2026 (tentative dates; exact schedule to be announced later by NTA). The test covers 37 subjects and will be held across India and select international cities.

How to Apply (Step-by-Step):

  1. Visit the official website: https://cuet.nta.nic.in/

  2. Click on the "Registration for CUET (UG) – 2026" or "Apply Online" link (direct notice: https://cuet.nta.nic.in/registration-for-cuetug-2026).

  3. Complete the registration by providing basic details (name, mobile, email, etc.) and generate your application number.

  4. Fill the application form: Enter academic details, select up to 5 subjects (as per your desired courses/universities), choose exam cities, upload documents (photo, signature, Class 10/12 marks, category certificate if applicable).

  5. Pay the application fee online (via net banking, card, UPI, etc.). Fee structure (approximate; confirm on site):

    • General: INR 900–INR 1,200 (depending on subjects)

    • OBC-NCL/EWS: Lower rates

    • SC/ST/PwD/Female: Reduced or concessional

  6. Submit and download the confirmation page for records.

Who Should Apply?

  • Class 12 students (appearing/passed) seeking admission to undergraduate programs in central universities (DU, JNU, BHU), state universities, deemed universities, and participating private institutions across India.

  • CUET UG is mandatory for most UG admissions in these institutions (except a few like IITs via JEE).
