Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started re-registration for the January 2026 academic session. Re-registration is for those students who are already enrolled in the University and want to continue in the next year. The re-registration was started on Decemeber 01, 2025, and the last date is January 15, 2026.
It is mandatory to re-register before the deadline to receive study materials and appear in the term-end examinations. Those who miss the deadline may have to wait for next year or have to submit late fees/penalties. Students can register online via the official portal, https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in/.
Steps to Apply Online:
- Go to the official portal and log in using your enrollment numbers, password and captcha.
- After logging in, go to the Student Dashboard. Click on ‘Re-Registration’.
- Choose your compulsory/elective courses for the next semester/year carefully.
- Preview the form and pay the fees online.
- Submit the form, and you will get instant confirmation.
