JoSAA Round 5 Seat Allotment for IITs, NITs, IIITs & GFTIs is expected to be released today. JoSAA is the centralized counselling body that conducts seat allocation for admissions to top engineering colleges in India. It was formed by the Ministry of Education.

  • Round 5 Seat Allotment – Expected anytime today (usually released in the evening).

How to Check JoSAA Round 5 Allotment:

  1. Visit josaa.nic.in
  2. Login using JEE Main Application Number and Password
  3. Click on "Seat Allotment Result"
  4. Download the provisional allotment letter.

  • Computer Science (IIT Bombay): 60–150
  • Computer Science (IIT Delhi): 100–250
  • Mechanical (Old IITs): 1500–4000

NITs

  • NIT Trichy / Surathkal CSE: 500–3000
  • NIT Warangal CSE: 1000–4000
  • NIT Rourkela CSE: 2000–6000

IIITs

  • IIIT Hyderabad / Allahabad CSE: Very competitive (500–4000)

GFTIs

  • BIT Mesra, Assam University etc.: Higher closing ranks.

JoSAA stands for Joint Seat Allocation Authority. It conducts centralized counselling and seat allotment for IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced ranks.

Candidates who have qualified JEE Advanced 2026 (for IITs) or JEE Main 2026 (for NITs, IIITs & GFTIs).
