The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is conducting the SSC (Class 10) Board Exams 2026 from February 20 to March 18, 2026, in pen-and-paper mode across various centers in the state. Exams are held in morning (11 AM to 2 PM) and afternoon shifts where applicable.

February 23, 2026 Update (Live Context):

Today (Monday, February 23, 2026), the Marathi (Second or Third Language) exam was held from 11 AM to 2 PM. This follows the First Language Marathi paper on February 20. Student and expert feedback indicates the paper was generally easy to moderate, with straightforward unseen passages, balanced grammar sections, and some literature questions requiring detailed responses. Writing sections (essay/letter) were manageable for well-prepared students.

Unofficial Question Paper Analysis & Answer Key:

  • Difficulty Level: Easy to moderate overall, comprehension and grammar parts were student-friendly, while a few literature-based questions needed in-depth answers.

  • Key Sections: Reading comprehension (unseen passage) was easy to understand, grammar and writing skills aligned with the pattern.

  • Unofficial answer keys and detailed solutions are available from educational platforms. Students can cross-check their answers using expert-verified keys shared post-exam for self-evaluation. Official answer keys will be released later by the board (typically not immediately).

  • Expected good scores for those who revised standard topics and practiced previous years' papers.
