AMA School of Medicine does not have a traditional campus placement system, as is common in medical education. The focus remains on producing clinically competent graduates ready for licensing exams and professional practice. Students undergo extensive clinical rotations in affiliated hospitals, gaining hands-on experience in various specialties. Most international graduates (especially Indian students) return to their home countries after completion. Indian graduates prepare for and appear in the FMGE/NEXT examinations. 

Successful passers practice as doctors, pursue postgraduate studies (MD/MS), or work in hospitals and healthcare sectors. The MD degree is recognized by WHO and NMC, enabling eligibility for practice and further studies globally after clearing required licensing exams. The school maintains an alumni network that provides guidance for exam preparation and career progression. Success largely depends on individual dedication during licensing exam preparation.

AMASOM offers merit-based scholarships primarily for the MD program to support deserving international students. These are competitive and awarded based on academic performance.

• Merit Scholarships for Indian/International Students: Up to 50%, 20%, and 10% tuition fee waivers in the first year of the MD program, based on BS Pre-Med results.

• Amable Aguiluz Sr. Medical Scholarship and AMASOM Academic Scholarships for outstanding students.

• Scholarships are typically adjusted in tuition fees after successful completion of the previous session and visa conversion.

Students must apply through the official portal and complete the admission process to be eligible. Renewals or continued awards depend on maintaining high academic standards. Government or external scholarships can also be availed.
