Lumbini Medical College does not have a traditional placement system. Instead, it emphasises clinical competencies and licensing exam preparation. Students gain hands-on experience in its fully functional teaching hospital, which caters to a large patient base. It produces clinically competent doctors ready for global opportunities.

After graduation, students typically pursue Postgraduate studies or start Medical practice in India after FMGE/NEXT. Students can also go for licensing in Nepal or other countries. They usually find employment in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions globally. 

Students need to complete a mandatory internship in their final year, which plays a crucial role in shaping students into competent medical professionals. Interns rotate across departments such as surgery, pediatrics, gynecology, orthopedics, and emergency medicine.
