Nanjing Medical University Hanzhong Road Admission 2026- Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Nanjing Medical University’s admission process for the international MBBS program follows the guidelines of the Ministry of Education of China and the university’s School of International Education. It is transparent, merit-based, and primarily conducted online.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age: Minimum 18 years by the time of enrollment and usually not more than 25 years.

• Academic Qualification: Completion of senior high school (10+2 / equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.

• Minimum Marks: At least 70% aggregate in PCB. For Indian students, CBSE/equivalent ≥ 70% and State Boards higher percentage may be required.

• NEET Qualification: Mandatory for Indian students.

• Good physical and mental health: no color blindness or other medical conditions that hinder medical studies.

• English proficiency is required, though, IELTS/TOEFL is usually not mandatory if previous education was in English.

Application Process:

1. Apply online through the Nanjing Medical University International Student Application System.

2. Upload scanned copies of required documents: High school transcripts and certificate, NEET scorecard (for Indians), passport, passport-size photos, physical examination form, and other supporting documents.

3. Pay the application fee (if applicable).

4. Application review by the university. It may include an interview in some cases.

5. Receive the Admission Letter and JW202 Form upon acceptance.

6. Apply for a Chinese Student Visa (X1/X2) at the Chinese Embassy/Consulate in your home country.

7. Register at the university in person during the designated registration period (usually September).
