Popular Medical College Dhanmondi Admission 2026- Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admission at Popular Medical College follows the guidelines of the BMDC, DGHS, and University of Dhaka. Indian students must qualify for NEET and meet the minimum academic requirements.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum age: 17 years at the time of admission

• Minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCB in 10+2 or equivalent

• NEET qualification mandatory for Indian students

• Valid passport for foreign applicants

Application Process:

• Check Eligibility Criteria - Confirm you meet the minimum requirements: age 17+ years, minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology in 10+2 (or equivalent), and a valid NEET qualification (for Indian students).

• Submit Online Application – Fill out the online application form available on the official college website or through authorised education consultants. Provide accurate personal, academic, and contact details.

• Document Submission – Upload or submit scanned copies of required documents, including 10th & 12th marksheets/transcripts, NEET scorecard, passport (for foreign students), recent passport-size photographs, and medical fitness certificate.

• Document Verification - The college and relevant authorities (BMDC/DGHS) verify all submitted documents and eligibility. This step may take some time.

• Receive Admission Offer Letter – If selected, you will receive a provisional admission/offer letter from the college.

• Pay Initial Fees – Pay the required first-year or initial admission fees (as mentioned in the offer letter) to confirm and reserve your seat. Fees are usually paid through bank transfer or demand draft.

• Obtain Equivalence Certificate (if required) – Foreign students may need to get the equivalence of their academic certificates from the Directorate General of Health Services or University of Dhaka.

• Complete Formalities & Visa Process - Indian students need to complete immigration and visa formalities (if applicable). Submit original documents for final verification.
