The admission process for AISSMS Institute of Management (MBA program) is mainly conducted through the Maharashtra State Centralised Admission Process (CAP) managed by the State CET Cell/DTE Maharashtra.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for MBA admission, one must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for Maharashtra reserved category/PwD candidates). A
Valid score in one of these entrance exams: MAH MBA/MMS CET, CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA and GMAT
Online Admission Process 2026
Appear for an Accepted Entrance Exam: Most Maharashtra students apply through MAH MBA CET. National exam scores like CAT/CMAT/XAT are also accepted.
Register for CAP Counselling: Apply through the Maharashtra CET Cell/DTE portal during CAP rounds. Fill college preferences, including AISSMS IOM.
Document Verification: Entrance exam scorecard, Graduation marksheets, SSC/HSC certificates, Transfer/Leaving Certificate, Domicile certificate (if applicable), Caste/NCL/EWS certificates and Aadhaar card, photographs, etc.
Seat Allotment: Entrance exam score, Merit rank, Reservation category and Availability of seats.
Institute-Level / Vacant Seats: If seats remain vacant after CAP rounds, candidates can apply directly to the institute for institute-level admissions.
Fee Payment & Admission Confirmation: After allotment, pay fees and submit original documents to confirm admission.
