Army College of Medical Science New Delhi Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS), New Delhi, has a highly restricted and centralized admission process for its flagship MBBS program (100 seats annually). Admissions are exclusively for eligible wards of serving/retired Indian Army personnel, war widows of Army personnel with priority categories as per AWES guideline. 

Eligibility Criteria: Must be a child/ward of serving Army personnel, retired Army personnel, or war widows. Minimum 17 years as on December 31 of the admission year. An academic should pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English; minimum 50-60% aggregate in PCB Qualify NEET-UG. 

Online Admission Process

• Step 1: Appear and Qualify NEET-UG

• Step 2: Register for Counseling- After NEET results (usually June), eligible candidates register online through Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) portal.

• Step 3: Counseling and Seat Allotment- GGSIPU conducts centralised counselling. based on NEET-UG merit rank among eligible Army wards. Seats allocated per priority categories.

• Step 4: Document Verification and Joining- After allotment, report to ACMS for physical verification of originals. Pay fees and complete admission formalities.
