OPUS, the Internship and Placement Cell of Bharati College, is a student-driven professional body formed in the 2017-18 academic session. The Cell has been engaged in enhancing the employability of students through various initiatives. Each year, a team of trained student coordinators from diverse streams takes charge of managing the Cell’s operations under the guidance of faculty mentors. Their core responsibilities include reaching out to companies for internships and placements, ensuring organisational credibility, facilitating student applications, and coordinating the entire recruitment process, from pre-placement talks to final offer rollouts.

Key Objectives and Activities of Placement Cell:

• OPUS works to connect Bharati College students with recruiters by inviting companies for campus drives, internships, and job opportunities. 
• It emphasises building industry-specific skills through workshops, seminars, and training sessions. This includes CV/Resume writing, Personality development, mock interviews, soft skills training, LinkedIn optimisation, etc. 
• It organises internship fairs, placement drives, and collaborations such as MTV for drives involving companies like Ajio, LinkedIn, Swiggy, Xami, etc. 
• The placement cell is coordinated by faculty members like Dr Sonali Jain, along with others.
• The cell strongly focuses on internships with regular opportunities shared via drives, fairs, and direct invites. 

Bharati College offers a range of scholarships and financial aid options to help and support needy students. These include college-specific, merit-based, and merit-cum-means awards, departmental prizes, DU/University-level scholarships, and access to government schemes. Scholarships are typically awarded annually during college events like the annual day or prize distribution ceremonies.
