The placements for law programmes at School of Legal Studies are managed through the University’s centralised Placement Cell. The cell organises campus recruitment drives, internships, skill development workshops, moot court training, legal drafting, personality development, interview preparation, and guest lectures. Placements Cell maintains strong ties with industries across healthcare, IT, management, engineering, and other sectors, resulting in placements in diverse fields like IT, education, HR & recruitment, finance, logistics, and healthcare. They also organise guest lectures and practical exposure for a better understanding of the law. 

More than 100 recruiters participate in its recruitment drive every year. As per reports, the average placement package offered to students at the recent placement drive is INR 6 LPA and the highest placement package offered is INR 15 LPA. Recruiters often include law firms and chambers, corporate legal departments, PSUs, banks, consulting & audit firms, NGOs, TCS, IBM, Accenture, and many others. Top recruiting sectors are Corporate law, advocacy, judiciary, banking, finance, consulting and many others. Students are offered roles like Junior Advocate, Law Firm Associate, Legal Officer, Compliance Officer, Contract Manager, Policy Analyst, etc.

 School of Legal Studies offers scholarships to needy students and to students who performs good in academics. They offer scholarships through centralised university mechanisms, state government schemes, national ports, and merit/need based aids. Students can access a wide range of scholarship options through CUSAT’s student support systems, UGC, Kerala Government, and the National Scholarship Portal.
