COER University Roorkee Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

COER University, Roorkee, follows a merit-based and entrance exam-based registration process. As per the advanced technology, admissions are conducted online through the official portal. The selection is primarily based on.

• Performance in national/state-level entrance exams.
• Qualifying examination marks in 12th for UG, bachelor's for PG.
• Counselling or personal interview 
• Direct admission is possible for certain programs based on merit, but entrance scores are preferred/mandatory for flagship courses like B.Tech and M.Tech.

Exams Accepted:

• Undergraduate Programs: JEE Main, CUET UG, CBSE/UK/ISC 12th marks.
• Postgraduate Programs: GATE, CAT, MAT, XAT, CUET PG.

Note* Relaxation in eligibility (typically 5%) for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) as per Uttarakhand Government/UGC norms.

• UG Eligibility- BTech, B.Pharma, BBA, BSc., BCA and B.Com: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology with a minimum 45-50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories).
• PG Eligibility- MBA and MTech: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate. Entrance exams accepted for MBA are CAT, MAT, XAT, CUET PG, or merit + interview. For MTech B.Tech/B.E. in relevant branch with minimum 50-55% aggregate and the entrance exams required are GATE (primary) or university entrance test + counselling.

• Entrance Exam: Appear for the required exam (if applicable).

• Document Verification & Fee Payment: Submit originals and pay the admission fee to confirm seat.
