The Training & Placement Cell provides comprehensive support, including pre-placement training, soft skills, aptitude, mock interviews, internships, workshops, and industry visits. The primary focus of the placement cell is to facilitate campus drives and maintain strong corporate relations. Placement records are good as per the records.

Some of the top recruiters include Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Atlassian, Trident, Flipkart, TCS, Accenture, etc. In recruitment drives, students are offered job roles based on their academic performance and their interview performance.

Key Functions and Activities:

• The Placement Cell provides Pre-Placement training, such as resume building, GD/PI, and technical skills.
• It focuses on skill development among students in emerging areas like AI/ML, data sciences, etc.
• Schedules placements and makes sure the process goes smoothly. It also provides internship opportunities to students.
• It also provides internships leading to pre-placement offers.
• It organises events like hackathons, guest lectures, and industry collaborations. 

NITJ offers various scholarships to students to support meritorious and needy ones. They provide scholarships to encourage those with good academic performance as well. Some of these are institute funded meanwhile some are government scheme-based. 

Students can avail only one scholarship at a time. For M.Tech and PhD, GATE-qualified students get assistantships, and they can also apply for external scholarships.

How to Apply: Most central/state scholarships via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP 2.0). Institute-specific ones through notices on the NITJ website or scholarship section. Submit income certificate, academic records, and other documents.
