Admission Criteria for UG and PG programs are given below. GCU offers more than 70 courses across UG, PG, and doctoral levels. It’s popular programs include B.Tech. and MBA. Other offered programmes are B.Sc, BBA, BCA, BPT, and Ph.D. For some programmes, admissions are merit-based. Students have to take an entrance exam for admission to B.Tech and MBA. Accepted exams are KCET, COMEDK UGET, JEE Main, KMAT/CAT/MAT.
- PG course Eligibility- To get admission at Garden City University, applicants have to pass a bachelor's degree from any recognised university with a minimum 45% aggregate marks. For reserved category students, has 5% relaxation in aggregate marks.
- Entrance Examination Accepted- KCET, COMEDK UGET, JEE Main, KMAT/CAT/MAT.
- UG Course Eligibility- interested applicants have to pass 12th (intermediate) from any recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks in any stream.

Garden City University has a Placement Cell, Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) which provides career guidance and job opportunities to students through industry partnerships and campus recruitment programs. The placement cell facilitates in uplifting the employability of its students. They assist them by providing a springboard for their careers through the sought-after campus placement process. The IIPS plays a vital role in ensuring that every student at the university gets an opportunity to do an internship in reputed companies and a job as well later before they graduate.
IIPC is well connected with the best of the business houses in and outside Bangalore. It organises training, internships, and campus recruitment drives. The University emphasises skill development, industry collaborations, and holistic employability through programs like mandatory internships for final year students and events such as EDGE 202% (employability workshops) and Internship Drives. The IIPC also organises a Job fair annually called ‘Launch’ which aims at facilitating campus placements but only for those students who have successfully completed their internships.
The IIPC is also open for universities’ alumni students and for outsiders. This ensures that students have seamless opportunities.
The Job descriptions and the job opportunities are shared with the students via various communication channels, apart from which the placement module of the GRMS is actively used.
The JDs are uploaded and the students of the respective discipline who are eligible for the JD are mapped so that the student gets to apply through University’s GRMS Portal.
