Gujarat National Law University Gandhinagar Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Admission to GNLU is conducted through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) followed by centralised counselling organised by the Consortium of NLUs. The process is merit-based and transparent.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Integrated UG Programmes (B.A./B.Com./B.B.A./B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons.)): 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/PwD). No upper age limit.

• LL.M.: LL.B. or equivalent with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).

Step-by-Step Admission Process

1. Register and appear for CLAT UG or CLAT PG on the Consortium portal.

2. Obtain All India Rank (AIR) in the CLAT results.

3. Participate in centralised counselling rounds and submit preferences for NLUs.

4. Receive seat allotment based on rank, category, and choice order.

5. Pay the required admission fee and complete document verification.

6. Join the university as per the academic schedule.

Special reservations and seats are available for NRI, foreign nationals, and other categories as per university norms.
