The Hansraj College has a student run Placement Cell headed by teachers converners, appointed by the college administration. It works on bridging the gap between the students and recruiters as well as assisting both parties in conducting a smooth and hassle-free placement drive. It works round the year except during examinations and mentioned holidays. 

The placement cell has a dedicated room above the library where they work effortlessly to attract recruiters from diverse sectors and has a strong track record, especially for commerce and economics students. 

Placement Process:

• Step 01: Companies willing to recruit from the college connect with them. A job description is then mailed by the placement cell which is filled and submitted by the company. 
• Step 02: The placement cell segregates companies into 3 tiers based on the CTC they are offering. 
• Step 03: The placement cell assigns a Point of Contact to every company recruiting from Hansraj to facilitate a seamless placement process. 
• Step 04: After the completion of the recruitment process, the results and the acceptance of the students shall be coursed through the placement cell to the selected candidates.

The Hansraj College offers merit and need-based scholarships to encourage academic excellence and support deserving students who lack financial resources. To provide these scholarships, the Student Welfare Committee interviews applicants. The college also gives fee concession from 50% to 100% based on annual income, family background, and girl child.
