Hansraj College New Delhi Admission Process
Hansraj College, a constituent college of the University of Delhi (DU), follows the centralised admission process of DU for all undergraduate (UG) programs like BA, BCom, BSc (Hons and Program), etc. Admissions are solely based on scores in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Class 12 marks are used only for eligibility confirmation, not for merit.
- UG Eligibility: Passed Class 12 from a recognised board. Must have appeared in CUET UG in the required subject combination for the chosen program.
- PG Eligibility: passed a bachelor's degree from any recognised university with a minimum aggregate marks. To pursue such programs(MA/MSc/MCom), it's through CUET PG.
Major Steps for online Admission:-
- Appear for CUET UG 2026: Register and apply for CUET UG on the NTA website (typically opens in February/March; for 2026, expected around early 2026). Choose subjects as per the program requirements (Language + Domain subjects from List A/B).
- Register on DU CSAS Portal: After CUET results are declared, register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS UG) portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in or admission.uod.ac.in. Fill preferences for colleges and courses (you can select Hansraj College and multiple programs). Pay the CSAS application fee.
- Seat Allocation Rounds: DU releases multiple allocation lists (Round 1, 2, upgrades, spot rounds, mop-up rounds) based on CUET scores, preferences, category, and seat availability. If allotted to Hansraj College, accept the seat, pay fees online, and get documents verified (online/offline as specified).
- Document Verification and Fee Payment: Class 10/12 marksheets, CUET scorecard, category certificate (if applicable), ID proof, etc. Pay the course fee (for 2025-26, first-year fees ranged INR 15,000- INR 25,000 depending on course, then check latest on the college site).
