About IIT Scholarships

IIT Tirupati offers scholarships to provide financial support to students from economically weaker sections. It also offers scholarships to encourage academic excellence among students. Students who want to take advantage of scholarship programmes must fall under eligibility criteria as mentioned by the Institute.

Scholarships	Eligibility Criteria
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship	Parents annual income not exceeding Rs. 4.50 lakhs. Renewal of scholarship every semester is subject to a minimum GPA of 5.0 in the previous semester.
Institute Free Studentship	Parents annual income not exceeding Rs. 4.50 lakhs. Renewal of scholarship every semester is subject to a minimum GPA of 5.0 in the previous semester.
Institute SC/ ST Scholarship	Parents annual income not exceeding Rs. 4.50 lakhs. Renewal of scholarship every semester is subject to a minimum GPA of 5.0 in the previous semester.
