IMT Hyderabad Hyderabad Scholarships: Eligibility & Scholarship Amount 2026

IMT Hyderabad offers various scholarships to provide financial assistance to PGDM candidates to reduce their burden of expenses for management education. Normally, scholarships cannot be combined; a candidate getting eligible for more than one scholarships shall choose one. Scholarships are subject to the final decision of the Scholarship Committee and also depends on the candidate maintaining good academic record. Bank loans are provided by major banks for balance fee amount.

Merit Based Scholarship: All those candidates who are able to score 90 percentile or above in CAT/XAT entrance tests or scored 645+ (GMAT Focus Edition)/700+ (GMAT 10th Edition) are eligible to receive 40% fee concession on the academic fee portion after joining IMT Hyderabad and making the initial payments of fees.

Smt. Leela Nath Memorial Scholarship: All female candidates who join any of the PGDM programs are eligible to receive 20% fee concession on the academic fee portion after joining IMT Hyderabad and making the initial payment of fees.

Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme: Eligible candidates (normally from economically weaker section as per AICTE norms) may obtain 100% waiver of academic fee portion. Normally, there are limited seats (around 5 candidates) under this scheme. Fees for hostel and mess remain applicable. 

Late Shri Mahendra Nath Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship: Awarded to second year students based on first year academic performance, socio-economic conditions, conduct and commitment. The amount is generally INR 1 lac.
