Jayam College of Engineering and Technology has a dedicated Training & Placement Cell that focuses on preparing students for industry requirements through regular aptitude training, technical skill development, soft-skills sessions, and mock interviews. The college organizes on-campus and pooled placement drives every year, giving students exposure to IT, core engineering, and management roles. 

Reputed companies such as TCS, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, CSS Corp, ICICI Bank, and Wipro have recruited students from the campus. Over the years, JCET has recorded a highest placement package of around INR 8–12 LPA, while the average package ranges between INR 3–4 LPA, depending on the branch and year.
