The Training and Placement Cell of JPIHM plays a central role in preparing students for careers in the hospitality industry. It focuses on bridging the gap between academic training and industry requirements through structured grooming, industrial exposure, and campus recruitment drives. 

Key Functions of the Placement Cell:

• It organises Industrial Training in reputed hotels and hospitality establishments.
• It conducts pre-placement training including personality development, communication skills, grooming & etiquette, mock interviews, group discussions, resume-writing, and hospitality-specific workshops.
• It invites hospitality companies for campus placements and coordinates selection processes.
• It organised guest lectures, webinars, industry visits, and seminars by hostel professionals. 
• It maintains strong Industry networks for placements in India and abroad.
• It provides career counselling and guidance for job applications, interviews, and career progression. 

Placement Process

• Students register with the placement cell during their course.
• Undergo mandatory industrial training.
• Participate in grooming and skill-development sessions.
• Companies visit the campus or conduct virtual drives.
• Selection rounds include aptitude tests, practical tests, group discussions, and personal interviews.
• Selected students receive offer letters, and many get Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) based on their internship performance.

JPIHM Meerut offers financial assistance to students mainly through a combination of institute-level concessions, state government scholarships, central government schemes, and category-based scholarships. Most scholarships are processed through the Uttar Pradesh Scholarship Portal or the National Scholarship Portal.
