KC College of Hotel Management Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Admission 2026: Process, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT) or similar hospitality programmes, 

• You must have passed Class 12th (10+2) from a recognised board in any stream.
• There is no separate entrance test (like NCHMCT JEE) conducted for admission to this college is based on 10+2 merit.

Application & Registration

You can apply through the college’s admission cell or via the official application form.

• Online/Offline: You can request or fill out the admission form online through the KC Group of Institutes admissions page or visit the college admission office to get a physical form.
• Submission: Submit your completed application along with the required documents.

Selection & Merit List

• Merit-based Admission: The college prepares a merit list based on your 12th standard marks.
• Seat Distribution: Typically, 85% of seats are reserved for Punjab domicile candidates and 15% for students from other states.
• The merit list is displayed on the college notice board/website and/or communicated via SMS/email.

Document Verification

Once you’re selected in the merit list, you need to physically visit the college for document verification. You will need, 

• 10th and 12th mark sheets & certificates
• Aadhaar Card (student & parent)
• Domicile/Residence certificate
• Character certificate
• Passport-size photos
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Medical certificate
• Affidavit for gap year (if applicable)
• Income affidavit (if applicable)

Fee Payment

• After verification, you must pay the admission fees to confirm your seat.
• Payment may be accepted online (UPI/bank transfer) or at the college admissions office, depending on the college’s mode.
• Fees once paid are generally non-refundable as per college rules.

Final Confirmation

• On successful verification and fee payment, the college issues an admission confirmation letter and enrols you into the programme.
• You will also receive details about next steps, such as orientation, class start dates, and hostel allotment, if applicable.
