Kirloskar Institute of Management has a 98% successful placement rate and offers placement in Operations, Human Resources, Finance, and other business sectors. The placement cell of the Institute acts as a liaison between the recruiters and the students. The cell organizes various skill development sessions and allows students to learn industry skills on the job. The placement cell maintains students’ registration, a centralized placement portal, and maintains company contacts.  The placement cell organises summer internships with reputed companies and provides industry exposure to the students. 

In 2025, the highest and the average placement packages offered were INR 18 LPA & INR 7.5 LPA. Most placements are in marketing sectors, which have a placement rate of 37%.
