Madras Medical College Admission Process
Admission to Madras Medical College (Government Madras Medical College & Hospital), Madras is strictly entrance‑exam‑based and through centralized counselling, not direct or management‑quota.
Eligibility Criteria for MBBS and MD/MS
MBBS: Through NEET‑UG + Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee (TMP) / MCC counselling.
MD/MS/PG: Through NEET‑PG + All‑India‑counselling (DGHS) and/or Tamil Nadu state counselling.
Super-speciality (DM/MCh) & paramedical/B.Sc nursing/pharmacy: Through respective national/state counselling and college‑level verification.
MBBS admission process
Clear NEET‑UG: Appear for NEET‑UG conducted by NTA; score above the cut‑off and within the required rank band.
Registration for counselling: All‑India Quota (15%): Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) portal. State Quota (85%): Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee (Tamil Nadu medical‑online) portal.
Choice‑filling and allotment: During counselling, list Madras Medical College as one of your preferred colleges and choose an MBBS seat.
Document verification at MMC: After seat allotment, go to Madras Medical College with:

10th & 12th/ equivalent mark sheets
