National Institute of Fashion Technology New Delhi Scholarships: Eligibility & Scholarship Amount 2026

NIFT Delhi offers several scholarships and financial assistance primarily through means-cum-merit schemes to support meritorious students who are from economically weaker sections and those with academic excellence. Scholarships are centralised across all NIFT campuses, and applications are handled via the Campus Management System (CMS) portal. 

KEY SCHEMES:

SARTHAK Financial Assistance Scheme: This is the primary need-based scholarship for students whose family income qualifies them for tuition fee waivers. It applies to all regular students and is not an entitlement; final approval is by the campus committee. 

• Targeted at economically weaker sections (EWS).
• Provides tuition fee waivers/concessions based on family income.

UDAAN Scholarship Scheme: This scheme provides financial assistance for short-term or exchange programs abroad, aimed at giving global exposure to talented students from economically weaker backgrounds.

• Means-cum-merit based, often for international exposure or advanced studies.
• Selection via scrutiny committees requires income verification.

Other Support: 

• Merit-based awards from industry partners.
• Government scholarships via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) for categories like ST/SC/OBC/EWS.
