All the placement-related activities at NIT Agartala are managed by the Centre for Career Development (CCD), which serves as the dedicated Training & Placement Cell. The CCD is responsible for end-to-end placement coordination, student training, internship facilitation, and industry interface. 

It assists students in career exploration, skills development and successful job search. It provides regular career guidance and motivates students towards a career-oriented mindset and facilitates interaction between the students and the companies for mutual benefits.

Key Activities and Process of CCD

• Registration - Eligible students register with CCD.
• Company Invitations - CCD sends placement brochures and invites companies.
• Pre-Placement Talks - Companies conduct PPTs on campus or virtually.
• Selection Rounds - Include aptitude/written tests, group discussions, technical interviews, and HR rounds.
• Offers - Companies announce results; selected students sign offer letters through CCD.
• Internships - CCD also coordinates summer internships, and student internship coordinators are appointed.
• Training Programs - Regular sessions on resume building, interview skills, coding, aptitude, and group discussions.

NIT Agartala offers multiple scholarship schemes to support students financially, which include institute-level tuition fee waivers, government-sponsored scholarships, category-based benefits, and region-specific schemes. Most of the scholarships are processed through the National Scholarship Portal or state portals.
